Ger­man Logis­tics Award 2017: FIEGE and Mag­a­zino take sec­ond place

Berlin, 26 Octo­ber 2017 | Fiege Logis­tik and robot­ics startup Mag­a­zino have been awarded sec­ond place in the Ger­man Logis­tics Prize 2017. At the Ibben­büren site, Fiege and Mag­a­zino jointly brought the per­cep­tion-con­trolled TORU pick­ing robot to readi­ness for the mar­ket. The robots work par­al­lel to humans and store and retrieve shoes. A cer­tifi­cate was pre­sented to Fiege and Mag­a­zino on Wednes­day evening at the 34th Ger­man Logis­tics Con­gress of the Fed­eral Asso­ci­a­tion for Logis­tics (BVL) in Berlin.
