We are look­ing for a new col­league for our Behav­iour & Rea­son­ing Team:
  • Design and build our data infra­struc­ture for large-scale data sets
  • Cre­ate and main­tain the core data pipelines and define the data mod­els and schemata used in our sys­tem
  • Man­age large-scale data analy­sis and machine learn­ing appli­ca­tions
  • Extend our data analy­sis tools and sup­port the engi­neer­ing and busi­ness teams in cre­at­ing analy­ses
  • Sup­port cloud oper­a­tions by mon­i­tor­ing our infra­struc­ture and respond­ing to inci­dents
  • Man­age­ment of stu­dents in the data analy­sis team
Your pro­file
  • Bach­e­lor or master’s degree in Com­puter Sci­ence or equiv­a­lent work expe­ri­ence
  • Strong com­puter sci­ence or engi­neer­ing back­ground
  • Inter­est in man­ag­ing data and build­ing resilient infra­struc­ture
  • Famil­iar­ity with con­tain­ers and orches­tra­tion tech­niques (e.g. Kuber­netes, Docker Swarm)
  • Expe­ri­ence in bring­ing data infra­struc­ture and com­put­ing ser­vices into pro­duc­tion in a pub­lic cloud (e.g. AWS, GCP)
  • Pro­fi­ciency with Python and (rela­tional) data­bases (SQL, Django ORM)

Nice to have:

  • Expe­ri­ence with ROS or robot­ics in gen­eral
  • Expe­ri­ence in data analy­sis
  • Good knowl­edge of Pan­das, NumPy, Jupyter
  • Eng­lish required, Ger­man nice to have!
