Magazino is now a partner of the British Footwear Association (BFA). To kick off the partnership and promote a roadshow with the shoe box picking robot TORU in the UK, the German robotics company Magazino hosts a webinar together with the BFA and Zalando. The leading fashion platform Zalando has been using the robots since 2018 and will provide insights in the webinar on how and why they integrate the fleet of TORU robots in their footwear operations.
In the joint webinar, hosted by the BFA on June 17, footwear and logistics companies have the chance to get into discussion with Magazino and Zalando to learn more about the robots and how they support logistics and fulfillment processes. The speakers in the webinar are:
- Lucy Reece-Raybould, CEO of the British Footwear Association
- Bruno Ramos Caballer, Logistics Innovation Lead at Zalando SE
- Frederik Brantner, CEO & Founder at Magazino
Additionally, interested logistics professionals can learn more about the TORU Roadshow 2021 in the webinar. The roadshow is a campaign Magazino launched in order to bring the robot TORU directly in front of British logistics executives for product demonstrations since events like conferences and logistics trade shows remain cancelled.
The British Footwear Association (BFA) exist to support footwear businesses big and small, including: retailers, designers, manufacturers, wholesalers and service providers. They also represent, educate and provide advice to their members to help them achieve sustainable and profitable growth.
From concept to carrier bag, the BFA is at the centre of the UK’s footwear industry. They enable a myriad of businesses and sectors to come together to share, support and learn — which ultimately enhances the UK footwear industry as a whole.
The BFA, to use the shorthand name, is a non-profit trade association. Their dedication to supporting and strengthening UK footwear helps to reinforce its position as a recognized world leader.
