The pan­demic and the war in Ukraine have far-reach­ing effects on the Ger­man auto­mo­tive indus­try. Whether wiring har­nesses from Ukraine or chips from Asia — prob­lems in the sup­ply chains cause mas­sive dis­rup­tions for OEMs and sup­pli­ers. In times of increas­ing geopo­lit­i­cal uncer­tain­ties and volatile devel­op­ments, the auto­mo­tive indus­try has to find even more inno­v­a­tive ways to suc­cess­fully tackle future challenges.

But what does this future look like? What do we have to change for this? And does the “brave new world” really keep what it promises? You will get answers at the Forum Auto­mo­bil­lo­gis­tik 2022. Under the motto “Clear to cloudy. Clouds & Co. for trans­parency and resilience”, the par­tic­i­pants and exhibitors will dis­cuss cur­rent indus­try devel­op­ments, trends and the future of the auto­mo­tive sup­ply chain over two days. Look for­ward to excit­ing impulses and a diverse and up-to-date pro­gram. You will be able to lis­ten, watch and have your say — and again have the oppor­tu­nity for per­sonal encoun­ters and exchange.

At the Forum Auto­mo­bil­lo­gis­tik you have the oppor­tu­nity to see the Mag­a­zino robot SOTO live in action. The mobile robot auto­mates mate­r­ial sup­ply with KLT and is used at ZF Friedrichshafen, among oth­ers, as part of a pilot project.
