Your tasks

You are the front line of the low-level Soft­ware devel­op­ment team. Your main respon­si­bilites include but are not lim­ited to:

  • Remote debug­ging of live cus­tomer robots
  • Devel­op­ment of new fea­tures required to make the robot more robust, per­for­mant and behave smarter
  • Improv­ing the Hard­ware / Soft­ware inter­face to pro­vide the robot’s func­tion­al­ity and status
  • Devel­op­ment of soft­ware and dri­vers for new robot iter­a­tions to max­i­mize its capabilities
  • Main­tainance of the hard­ware ROS launch files and URDF structure

 

Your pro­file
  • You hold either a M.Sc. or B.Scs degree in Com­puter Sci­ence, Mecha­tron­ics Engi­neer­ing or a related field
  • You gained a min­i­mum of 3 years of indus­trial expe­ri­ence in robot­ics and soft­ware development
  • You excel with pro­fi­ciency in ROS, Python and C++ as well as on Linux platforms
  • You con­vince with expe­ri­ence with real robots also under­stand­ing the lower levels
  • You are flu­ent in Eng­lish and ide­ally have a good knowl­edge of German

Nice to have:

  • Knowl­edge of safe PLCs like Sick FlexiSoft
  • Expe­ri­ence with URDF/xacro ide­ally in com­bi­na­tion with Solidworks
  • Expe­ri­ence with ROS diag­nos­tics and com­plex launch files
  • Famil­iar with CI pipelines like Jenkins
