Your tasks
  • Deve­lo­p­ment of methods for free and cons­trai­ned robot navi­ga­tion in dyna­mic warehouse and indus­trial environments
  • Coor­di­na­tion of mul­ti­ple robots at run­time for effi­ci­ent hand­ling of traf­fic situa­tions in shared spaces (humans, robots, AGVs and other vehicles)
  • Safety-aware navi­ga­tion con­side­ring limi­ta­ti­ons impo­sed by the robot’s safety controllers
  • Test and eva­lua­tion of the deve­lo­ped approa­ches at our cus­to­mers’ sites

 

Requi­re­ments
  • PhD or Mas­ter degree in robo­tics, or simi­lar qualification
  • 5+ years of aca­de­mic or indus­trial expe­ri­ence with robot navi­ga­tion techniques
  • Excel­lent pro­gramming skills in C++ and Python
  • Nice to have: 
    • Hands-on expe­ri­ence with navi­ga­tion and path plan­ning methods in ROS
    • Expe­ri­ence with sen­sor fusion, 2D/3D came­ras, 2D/3D laser scan­ners, or IMUs
    • Struc­tu­red and inde­pen­dent working style
    • Eng­lish requi­red, Ger­man nice to have
