Your tasks
- Development of methods for free and constrained robot navigation in dynamic warehouse and industrial environments
- Coordination of multiple robots at runtime for efficient handling of traffic situations in shared spaces (humans, robots, AGVs and other vehicles)
- Safety-aware navigation considering limitations imposed by the robot’s safety controllers
- Test and evaluation of the developed approaches at our customers’ sites
Requirements
- PhD or Master degree in robotics, or similar qualification
- 5+ years of academic or industrial experience with robot navigation techniques
- Excellent programming skills in C++ and Python
- Nice to have:
- Hands-on experience with navigation and path planning methods in ROS
- Experience with sensor fusion, 2D/3D cameras, 2D/3D laser scanners, or IMUs
- Structured and independent working style
- English required, German nice to have
